About the Training:

Join EFT supervisors Megan Jones and Julia Conroy for an engaging 4-hour workshop grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)! We’ll walk through 5 of the most common blocks we see in therapy sessions—and the interventions that help move clients forward.

Expect an interactive atmosphere where you’ll get to watch, learn, and practice interventions through guided role plays. Perfect for those looking to sharpen their skills and gain confidence in tricky spots.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will learn a new method of conceptualizing the client's function of their blocks in therapy

  • Participants will learn three practical strategies of how to respond to each block

  • Participants will develop strategies to ground themselves when blocked during the EFT process






About Our Trainers

Megan Jones, EFCT Supervisor

Megan Jones has a passion for helping individuals and marriages and encouraging other therapists along their EFT journey.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. She has been a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist for 10 years and is also a Certified EFCT Supervisor.  Megan currently serves as the AREFT Community President and assists in facilitating EFT trainings throughout Arkansas.

Dr. Julia Conroy

Dr. Julia Conroy, EFCT Supervisor-in-Training

Julia Conroy is passionate about the securing relational bonds to improve emotional regulation strategies. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified EFT therapist and supervisor-in-training. She serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas, leads a research team at the Arkansas EFT Center to understand the physiological impacts of the EFT counseling process, and is the administrator for Arkansas EFT community.
